ATL Sarthi
ATL Sarthi is an initiative by the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM) of NITI Aayog, Government of India, focused on three key objectives:
To help current Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) become stronger, and more effective in promoting a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among young minds.
To foster greater collaboration between ATL and non-ATL schools nearby, mentors, value-add partners, etc. - ensuring more students benefit from ATL's valuable STEM-based learning resources.
For participating schools to share best practices, resources, tools and uplift each other, creating a self-sustaining innovation ecosystem.
ATL Sarthi Cluster
ATL Sarthi Cluster is a collaborative network of geographically linked ATL and non-ATL schools.
An ATL Sarthi Cluster is a regional network of roughly 20–50 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) that work together with local education authorities and partner institutions to improve innovation learning in schools.
The cluster enables schools to share training, conduct collaborative events, adopt effective practices, receive mentoring, and strengthen ATL operations. A Cluster Guidance Committee—typically involving principals, ATL in-charges, mentors, institutions, and nodal officers—supports progress, compliance, and on-ground mentoring.
ATL Sarthi is designed to make ATLs more effective and self-sustaining through peer learning, local ownership, and continuous improvement.
