Junior Incubation Programme (Upcoming)
School student innovation projects often end prematurely, typically after competitions or showcase events. As a result, many promising ideas are lost, despite their potential to be scaled up or commercialized. There is a clear need for a structured framework that sustains student innovations beyond the ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) ecosystem and nurtures them into impactful solutions.
The Junior Incubator Programme is designed to sustain promising student innovations beyond ATL competitions by providing a structured pathway for mentoring, prototyping, and commercialization.
By extending the journey into a year-long incubator, we ensure that ideas with potential are nurtured into impactful solutions. The programme also aims to build a pipeline of student-led innovations that can address real-world challenges, thereby contributing to societal progress.
Success will be measured by the number of innovations reaching commercialization, patents filed, and students absorbed into partner organizations.
The 7-Stage Junior Incubation Framework provides a clear, step-by-step pathway for advancing student innovations through key developmental phases. The journey begins with the shortlisting of promising student-projects by the Value-add Partner, followed by structured mentorship and hands-on prototype refinement. It then progresses through product development, IP guidance, and business readiness training, ultimately culminating in Step 7 with formal entry into startup or social-innovation ventures.
