An Innovation Sandbox is a safe, controlled environment designed for testing new ideas, technologies, products, or business models without risking real-world systems, production data, or legal compliance. An innovation sandbox can be set up in a school campus to deploy student innovations.
Innovation cannot remain trapped inside a laboratory. Schools can establish physical "Innovation Sandboxes" on their campuses—designated zones where student inventions are deployed in real-world environments. Whether it is a solar-powered cap fan worn by students on the playground or an automated sensor system in the school canteen, testing solutions among real users allows students to gather immediate feedback, analyze failures, and refine their products based on human experience.
