Exposure Trip to the IDEA Lab at BMS Institute of Technology & Management
On the occasion of “Engineers Day” on the 15th of September 2026, BMS Institute of Technology & Management, our Value-add Partner had organized a one-day exposure trip to their IDEA Lab for 30+ students of ATL Sarthi Cluster schools.
33 student from 5 schools (KV CRPF, Rashtrotthana Vidya Kendra, KV IISc, BGS National Public School and JSS Public School – HSR Layout).
The exposure trip included:
Introduction to IDEA Lab facility and walk-through of the IDEA Lab, including demonstrations of various equipment and resources that students can leverage for taking their innovations forward.
Session on Internet of Things, including demonstration of IoT trainer board for rapid prototyping by students.
Presentation by visiting school students/student-teams on one innovation project for which they need further support from BMSIT.
Career's Day and Industry Visit at SAP Labs
The Global Education & Leadership Foundation (tGELF) had organized a day-long Career's Day and Industry visit at SAP Labs Bangalore on 8th September 2026 for school students.
Students from SEA Primary and Higher Secondary School, a cluster school from ATL Sarthi Cluster Bangalore North attended the Career’s Day and Industry visit at SAP Labs.
AR / VR Workshop by STEAM Varsity in partnership with American Embassy
BGS National Public School successfully hosted the Young Innovators STEM Lab (YISL) 2026, in collaboration with the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF), the U.S. Embassy in India, and STEAM Varsity on 19th August 2026.
The programme was aimed at fostering innovation, creativity and technology-driven learning among young students through an immersive, hands-on experience in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR).
200+ students from 10+ ATL Sarthi Cluster schools participated in the event - Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Bangalore South, Tapovan School, The Oxford Senior Secondary School, BGS National Public School, JSS Public School, Air Force School Jalahalli, Freedom International School, Silicon Valley School, Sri Sri Ravishankar Vidya Mandir Bangalore North and P Shri KV AFS Yelahanka.
Participants built their own virtual and augmented reality content, experienced it firsthand using AR/VR headsets, and pitched their innovative solutions to a jury at the end of the day.
Guest Lecture & Field Visit to FSID, IISc
Our value-add Partner, FSID in IISC organized a one-day programme for 60 school students for 4 ATL Sarthi Cluster schools on 20th August 2026 at their campus. The visit included inspiring talks on the following topics:
The Aluminium Story: Discovery, Chemistry & Innovation by Dr. Amitava Pramanik, Head of SEED, FSID
The new Gold Rush – Critical Minerals for Clean Energy – by Dr. Tanaya Kundu, FSID
Applications of luminescent materials and devices – by Prof. Rajamalli and PROFM Research Group, MRC, IISc
Chemistry and what matter can become: Exploring the science of ‘Making thing happen’ – Talk and Demonstrations by Parth Kumar, UG, IISc.
Capacity-building Programmes for Teachers by Young Innovators Pvt. Ltd.
Young Innovators Educational Services Pvt. Ltd., our value-add partner for Bangalore North conducted a two-day Capacity-building programme for ATL Sarthi Cluster teachers.
Around 30 teachers participated in the workshop – conducted on 10th and 11th July 2026.
The programme equipped teachers with skills in electronic basics, sensors, actuators, micro-controllers, electronic circuit building, Arduino programming and Robotics.
